French pop music is known as pop music that is sung in in French. It is also known that French pop music is actually performed most of the time by certain singers that are actually from France as well as Belgium and Quebec. They can also be from any other different francophone areas that are located around the world.

When it comes to the actual target audience of the francophone, you will find that the market is known to be considerably smaller as well as largely independent than the other mainstream Anglophone style of market.

When you are learning about French pop music, it is also important that you learn about the history that is behind it as well. The actual first very distinct styles of French pop music that was able to emerge was known as French Rock as well as the ye-ye.

These styles were originated in the country of France in the nineteen sixties. These styles were known to be influenced a great deal by the rock and roll that was popular during the nineteen fifties which was also the time that Anglo American was in style as well.
