Community Music School Lessons
Private Music Lessons
Private Music Lessons are offered on all instruments and voice, jazz improvisation and composition with the guidance of Community Music School instructors. The recommended age for instrumentalists for initiating private study is 7. This is so because they should have enough strength in their fingers to handle any instrument. Pianists or violinists can begin at a younger age; the recommended age for vocalists is 14. The recommended age should be considered so that your children get the right value owing to their age.
Buddy Music Lessons
Buddy Music Lessons are given on almost all the instruments as well as in composition. Generally, two friends studying the same instrument can get registered together for Buddy Lessons. But the students are expected to understand that their maximum time will be spending part on listening to their buddy. Buddy Lessons are observed as an intermediate stage between school group lessons and the forthcoming private lessons. However, Buddy Lessons are not restricted to any age group; instead it is focused on the performance level. They are often meant to serve beginners who reach the intermediate levels of performance.
The benefits of taking Buddy Lessons are:
* Taking buddy lessons are less expensive
* Students can learn with a master teacher guidance on their instrument
* Generally, it is noted that students learn a lot from each other.
Students can make use of Buddy Lessons to check, if they are prepared for further serious stages of private music study.
Group Music Lessons
Group music lessons are given in Piano as well as Guitar. You can learn this by watching various sites available in the internet.
Music Instructors and Interns
Community Music School has instructors who are professional artist-educators and are the Western New York’s teachers and performers who are in great demand. Community Music School interns refer to the Eastman School of Music students or the recent graduates who are one among the best as well as the brightest young performers in the universe. Additionally, besides the instructors and interns, a few Eastman School members of the music college faculty also offer lessons through the Community Music School and each set his or her own fee.
